Seasonal Grounds Maintenance
It’s important understand that as the seasons change your lawn will require a different regiment. Our knowledgeable grounds technicians at Ruggiero know exactly what the lawns in the Fredericksburg and surrounding areas require to remain healthy, strong and beautiful year round.
Spring Cleans Ups: Our Spring Clean-up services start late February to early march and continue through late May, they include trimming of new growth off of plant/shrubs within landscape beds, Light tree pruning on a case by case scenario, removal of leftover foliage within landscape beds (I.E, grass, weeds, leaves) a redefining and the landscape bed edge. (this helps keep the turf from growing into the landscape beds) Appling a preemergent to the areas where mulch will be applied to help keep weeds from growing. And a application of double shredded hardwood mulch to the landscape beds. Roughly 1” to 2”. (applying to much mulch could cause damage to existing plant materials.
Summertime Clean Ups: Services start in early June and continue through September. They include trimming of new growth off of plant/shrubs within landscape beds, Light tree pruning on a case by case scenario, removal of leftover foliage within landscape beds (I.E, grass, weeds, leaves) a redefining and the landscape bed edge. (this helps keep the turf from growing into the landscape beds) Appling a post emergent to the areas where mulch will be applied to help keep weeds from growing. And a application of double shredded hardwood mulch to the landscape beds. Roughly 1”
Fall Clean Ups: Services start in October and continue through December. A property wide leaf clean up, We will blow all leaves into wooded areas accessible from property or mulch leaves/remove from property. They can also include trimming new growth off of plant/shrubs within landscape beds, Light tree pruning on a case by case scenario, removal of leftover foliage within landscape beds (I.E, grass, weeds, leaves) a redefining and the landscape bed edge. (this helps keep the turf from growing into the landscape beds) Appling a post emergent to the areas where mulch will be applied to help keep weeds from growing. And a application of double shredded hardwood mulch to the landscape beds. Roughly 1”
Wintertime Services: These services start in January and go through late February. They include a property visit to clean up all leaf debris and dead foliage on property. Light tree pruning on a case by case basis and pruning of landscape plant material to neat manner.
